and the winner is...

The King's Speech. A movie that isn't full of actions and quirky twists. Everyone knows exactly that in the end of the film Bertie will be able the give a speech without stammering. Actually, the point of the movie isn't that, the point of it is to get the audience involved in Bertie's struggle to overcome a speech problem. In my opinion, this film really deserves those 118 minutes of your life and that Oscar statuette.

J.A.

I guess it's not a surprise that Jane Austen is one of the greatest writers ever. Everytime I read one of her books, I find myself in an old/new world, in the early 19th century, in England. I fall in love with Captain Wentworth, Mr Darcy, Mr Knigthley...all the time. :)

just dance?

Tomorrow, I'm going to a ball which is not only about dancing. A suitable dress makes you feel comfortable and gives you confidence. There will be young people so for me the best choice is a cocktail dress. Nowadays, there's a huge variety of dresses but what kind of dresses did women wear decades ago?
Here are some vintage dresses:

"I believe in colors. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner.I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."
Audrey Hepburn, a woman of style

One of my favourite free time activities is making gobelins. It turns me off and when you see your own handmade gobelin on the wall is an indescribable feeling.
My latest project was a reproduction of Sir John Lavery's Spring. :)

welcome :)

In this crazy world it's hard to find wonderful and joyful things, but if we keep our eyes peeled, I believe we can see the bright side of life.
I don't mean that we need those popular cliches that love is the most beautiful thing in life, cause even if it's true, beyond it we have so many little wonders. Sometimes an old photography is able to brighten my day; not to mention a great song, a fabolous movie, waking up for birdcall, taking a walking in a garden full og angels, having chat with your old friends...a never ending list.
I would like to remind you and myself, that the world is awesome and we have so many wonderful things in life. :))
The point is: "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."  /Helen Keller/
